Tackling User-Centric Media Demands through Adaptable Software Defined Infrastructures
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper proposes a conceptual approach to content delivery that addresses emerging media demand trends through cross-layer integration between Virtualised Service Networks (VSNs) and Information Centric Networking (ICN). The transformative effects of software-defined infrastructures are presented and how these technologies can support dynamics needed to deliver personalised, interactive, mobile, and localised media content to consumers.

Generative Information Infrastructure Architectures. A Longitudinal Study of eHealth Infrastructures in Norway
This paper investigates the role of architectures in information infrastructures. We find that a key dimension is lacking in the extant architectural theorizing: the relations between an IIs’ architecture and structures in the user and development organizations/communities. Further, we find that an II’s architecture needs to change over time. We suggest the concept of generative architecture to...
متن کاملMobility Support Framework in Adaptable Service Architecture
Mobility is regarded as the most important feature needed to achieve adaptability and flexibility in the executing of service components. As such, service system could be able to cope with the handling of dynamic changes in the availability of resources and position of users. On the other hand, providing user-centric and personal-content driven wide range of services, more commonly wireless one...
متن کاملTowards Self-evolving Context-aware Services
The introduction of new communication infrastructures such as Beyond 3rd Generation (B3G) and the widespread usage of small computing devices are rapidly changing the way we use and interact with technology to perform everyday tasks. Ubiquitous networking empowered by B3G networking makes it possible for mobile users to access networked software services across continuously changing heterogeneo...
